The Bespoke Invite Design Process

  • Time to chat! We'll meet virtually and communicate via email so I can gather all the pertinent details about your special day and start building your dream invitations.

  • First things first, complete the form below to receive a custom pricing proposal! Once you’ve reviewed your quote, you’ll sign a contract and provide a 50% deposit to book your design.

  • I’ll create a mood board, with a color palette, design elements, inspiration photos as well as initial, rough sketches for your design. This will be your first opportunity to provide feedback.

  • The fun begins! I’ll get to work on creating your invitation suite and provide digital proofs for each card. You’ll have two rounds of edits included in the original proposal before you receive the final digital proof.

  • Once you approve the final digital proof, I’ll send the files to my printer. While your design is at the print shop, I’ll work on any add-ons to finalize your order.

  • Unless you’ve added on addressing and assembly services, I’ll ship your invitations to you unassembled. You will stuff the envelopes and apply postage. Don’t worry, I’ll provide a sample suite for you as an example.

Day Of Design

Custom Invitation Suite

The Brief

Create a custom invitation suite for a couple who wanted to celebrate their love in the desert! We worked together creating a custom save-the-date, invitation suite and map of Tuscon for Patt and Joe.

My Approach

Patt and Joe had seen my pre-designed desert suite but wanted some modifications to make the design as unique as their love story. For the save-the-date we added custom typography, fuschia die cuts and envelopes. For the invitation suite we customized the illustrations and added a custom map of Tuscon as an insert with the couple’s favorite spots. The design represented the couple’s number one goal for their event to have a big party with all their family and friends!
